CDM ANALYSIS & REPORT – RISK ASSESSMENT

The Construction Design & Management (CDM) Regulations place duties on all those who can contribute to the health and safety of a construction project. The Regulations place duties upon clients, designers, contractors and planning supervisors, and require the production of certain health and safety documents relating to the various stages of a building contract. CDM regulation documents, which Tudors will prepare for you, include:

  • Construction Phase Health & Safety Plans
  • Site Inspections
  • Pre-tender Safety Plans
  • Health & Safety File Production
  • Operations & Maintenance (O&M) Manuals
  • Planning Supervisor Role
  • Method Statements

The Risk Assessment forms part of the Health & Safety Report, identifying and analysing potential risks that may occur throughout the construction process.

The degree of detail as well as the time and effort required to comply with legal duties need only be in proportion to the nature, size and level of health and safety risks involved in the project.

HOUSE REMODELLING & REFURBISHMENT

PROJECT MANAGEMENT & SUPERVISION

Under The Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 1994, a Planning Supervisor has to be appointed by anyone proposing to construct or alter a building. Often when we act as Planning Supervisor we are also appointed as Project Managers.

The Project Manager represents the client in all aspects of the design and construction stages of the project, ensuring that the project is completed on time and within budget and meets the quality standards set by the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) and safety requirements.
